In a market where call centers are almost exclusively investing in AI and cost reduction, we chose to approach things differently. Digitization and automation are valuable and have their place, but we know from experience and market research that a one sided focus on technology and cost reduction will lead to quality degradation, reduction in customer experience and finally, sales volume.
Market research shows that a majority of Dutch consumers rate customer services as unsatisfactory. Long waiting times, having to call repeatedly and lack of ownership cause frustration for customers and reputational damage for companies. At the same time, offshoring is exclusively used to achieve cost reduction and this approach in turn causes high turnover of employees, loss of knowledge and inconsistent service delivery.
Data and information security are absolute preconditions for professional service delivery, especially for Dutch SME organizations and (semi) public organizations.
